In other news, Wednesday 13 has posted the following message on his MySpace page:
"I made a blog announcement a while back that Kid Kid had returned to the band. This was great news and I was really looking forward to him rejoining the band. However in the ever cruel world of life, Kid has unfortunately been put out of rock commission due to some major back problems and ordered by his doctor to sit out for three to six months. This really sucks, but as always the show must go on. This has put the bass player position back open. So again, here we go with another bass player wanted ad. Requirements: Must be at least 21 yrs old, U.S. resident, valid passport, experience necessary, image important, must send a link to your myspace page or website. Serious inquiries only. All interested parties please contact: [email protected]."
As previously reported, Wednesday 13 enlisted the talents of famed producer Bob Marlette to mix his sophomore solo CD, "Fang Bang". Marlette has previously worked with such artists as BLACK SABBATH, ALICE COOPER and KISS. An August 29, 2006 release via Rykodisc/Restless Records is expected.
Wednesday 13 recently issued a limited-edition box set of recordings his pre-MURDERDOLLS band FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS FROM PLANET 13. Featuring five CDs and one DVD, the collection spans the band's history from 1996 until 2001 and includes all four of their original albums plus a rarities disc and a DVD containing a live concert from 1998. Containing different artwork than the American release, the European version (which was released by People Like You Records) is limited to 2,666 copies and comes with a FRANKENSTEIN DRAG QUEENS key holder, poster and a 26-page booklet.
